A sad farewell...
http://news.yahoo.com/s/wtae/20051227/lo_wtae/3146107

Part of my childhood is gone. :-( This is bloody ironic as it has been less than a month since I was reading the proposal for opening O franchises.

:-(

I just passed a diner that my family has been going to since the 50s and it was all closed up. I'd eaten there just a couple of months ago and it was always busy, so I don't know what happened. It's sad indeed when our childhood haunts disappear.

Don't care about this at all in relation to the closing of the Decade, which was a tragic loss of rock and roll history (not to mention a lot of my own history!).
